Mindy Hutchinson, MD
Dr. Mindy Hutchinson has been treating adults and children in Pittsburgh’s South Hills for nearly 25 years. Her therapeutic approach reflects her belief that depression and anxiety often disguise and distort a person’s potential and best self, and that recovery requires changes in thinking, behavior, and sometimes biology. Her clinical work is primarily in diagnosis and treatment with medications. Areas of special interest include women’s mental health, collaboration with primary care physicians, and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Hutchinson teaches family practice residents and medical students. She is a delegate or board member of several professional and community organizations, and she speaks frequently on child behavior and attention problems as well as mental health issues in adults.
