Dr. Kavita Fischer is double board-certified in adult and child psychiatry and her special interests include OCD and generalized anxiety. She has a strong background in neuroscience and believes in the importance of understanding the mind-brain connection and its contribution to mental health, as well the importance of forming a therapeutic alliance.
Dr. Fischer is an active member of AACAP- the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) which reflects dedication to the field of psychiatry.
