Dr. Deiters’ treatment approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, incorporating person-centered, emotion-focused, interpersonal process, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. He focuses on creating a safe and supportive setting. Dr. Deiters has expertise in sport and performance psychology and has provided consultation in such areas as athletic performance, performing arts, and academics. Additional clinical interests include depression, anxiety, interpersonal concerns, men’s issues, grief/loss, life transitions, career/academic concerns, mindfulness, and stress management.
